As a kid, you’re not always in control of your actions. You may be influenced by peer pressure or some other force that makes you do things you know are wrong. The Diepsloot Youth Project aims to change the lives of at-risk youth by offering them skills that will help them become productive adults.
The project’s model focuses on teaching participants how to manage money and avoid using it for evil purposes. It also teaches them how to build a strong credit score, pass exams, and get a job they love. Most importantly, the program teaches kids how to respect themselves and others so they can have a positive outlook on life and lead an honourable life.
